The Violence & Crime Prevention Programme
Abstract and complex topics are best explained in a simple and playful way. When I was asked to portrait the Violence & Crime Prevention Programme (GIZ) in South Africa, I had to think a long time about different ways to approach the video. The programme is based on a holistic method that is not explained in a few sentences. After I saw a few sketching videos I was quickly convinced of their potential to be super charming and at the same time very informative. Together with a befriended illustrator we figured out how to produce a stop motion animation like this and here you see our proud the result.
